About the Sweethope Hopper Trout Fly
The Sweethope Hopper sits on the surface film temptingly. It has been very successful, not only in Northumberland where it was created for use on Sweethope Lough, but also throughout the Uk.
For fun and excitement Hopper dry fly fishing is about as good as it gets. It is best in late summer and autumn when terrestrials are plentiful and the wind blows them off the banks on to the water.
Country of origin for this trout fly: England
