About the Olive Peacock Montana Trout Fly
A Montana variant from the 1980s.
Fish very often take Montana nymphs when they are fished slowly along the bottom of a lake bed. Whether it be in the cold of winter or the heat of the summer try those deep holes.

- Hook : Size 6 - 10.
- Thread : Olive.
- Tail : Tip of olive marabou feather.
- Body : 3 strands of peacock herl.
- Thorax : Olive seal's fur.
- Wing case : Black feather fibres, shine side up.
- Hackle/legs : Olive cock.
