The Green Machine is a very effective and exciting steelhead salmon fly that is suitable for any river system and become one of the most popular and productive of all the bug patterns.
It is very versatile and can be equally successful when fished either dry in the surface film, or as a wet fly just below the surface or down deep on sink tip. Whatever method is used this fly will stimulate some ferocious attacks.
