Pattern Dressings
- Hook : 6-12 longshank.
- Thread : Black.
- Tail : Muskrat guard hair.
- Body : Muskrat dubbing.
- Hackle : Muskrat guard hair as a collar.
- Head : Black ostrich herl.
Polly's original version uses muskrat for tail & body, peacock herl for the head. Originally, the body hair was wrapped on with a split thread, but most people now probably use a dubbing loop.
