About the Haystack Trout Fly
The Haystack fly is a highly effective pattern that was created by Paul Canning, named after it's appearance of a haystack.
One of the key features of the Haystack dry hackled fly is its ability to sit enticingly on the surface film, which makes it an excellent choice for anglers fishing in still waters and slow-moving rivers.
