About the Ke He Black Trout Fly
Kemp and Heddle, both fly fishermen, created this pattern in the 1930s in an attempt to represent some bees or beetles they saw the trout feeding on.
Such was their success 80 years on the fly is still killing trout.
The Kee Hee Black works well as an all purpose fly. If fishing as part of a team it is best on the tail.
