About the The Golden Butterfly Salmon Atlantic Fly
The Golden Butterfly was the first recorded gaudy fly and is therefore a serious milestone in the development of classic salmons flies.
Expert Tip:
The 'The Golden Butterfly' was born as the result of Patrick McKays' visit to a Ballyshannon hat shop in or around 1810. Where he discovered an array of exotic feathers from the distant continents of Africa, Asia and the Americas.
