Pattern Dressings
- Hook : 12-14.
- Thread : Red.
- Tail : Pheasant tail strands.
- Body : Natural rabbit's hair.
- Rib : Pearl tinsel.
- Hackle : Ginger cock.
Lie the tail at the bottom end of the shank, make sure all strands are equal length, then tie about 3 inches of pearl tinsel down to the butt. Cover the body with rabbit dubbing followed by four turns of the pearl tinsel. Finish off the fly with a ginger hackle under the body.
