About the Black Cormorant Trout Fly
As featured in Trout Fisherman Magazine Issue 495
The Black Cormorant is a versatile fly that can be fished confidently on a floating, intermediate or sinking line.
It is a great point fly when fished with a very slow figure of eight retrieve on a floating line with nymphs or a blob. It also forms a deadly combination when used with a daddy.
Always vary the rates and type of retrieve, from static to jerky to one that is very fast.
It looks tasty so is a great attractor.
This trout fly is designed to be fished on Dams & Reservoirs
