About the Canadian Hamills Killer Trout Fly
A Canadian version of the classic New Zealand pattern Hamill's Killer.
The winged feather is tied so that it sits above the pattern rather than on the sides, and in this variation the feather is green.
Expert Tip:
Used mainly for still water fishing, it is also effective when wet lining slower river waters. Retrieve with a smooth pull followed by short pauses.
