About the Large Brook Dun Emerger Trout Fly
The Large Brook Dun is an emerger pattern which often hatch alongside the smaller cousin Iron Blue Dun patterns.
When the hatches occur on mass, trout become more selective due to the abundant food, and often choose a larger sized 'portion'. This pattern is generic enough to pass as other winged emergers, and is an excellent choice of fly when competing with large hatches.
