About the Shelvey Ginger Quill Trout Fly
The Ginger Quill is a classic belonging to the older dry-fly convention never loses their claim to fame.
This is a floating dry fly that is an imitation of pale wateries and light olive duns and is still effective two hundred years after it's creation.
Expert Tip:
"Only an idle little stream,
Where amber waters softly gleam,
Where I may wade through woodland shade.
And cast the fly, and loaf and dream."
Dr Henry Van Dyke.
