About the Dark Sedge Trout Fly
The Dark Sedge is another creation of Harry Powell, a well known barber and fly tyer of the 1920s.
The Dark Sedge is superb from dusk to dark, but it is also successful in tempting fish during daylight hours. It is particularly effective from early July through to the end of October.
Expert Tip:
Harry's haircuts are a thing of the past, but not his Dark Sedge.
