Pattern Dressings
- Hook : 12-14.
- Thread : Black.
- Tail : Cock-y-bondhu cock.
- Body, Thorax : Black rabbit flax.
- Body, Rear : Yellow dubbing, seal.
- Hackle : Cock-y-bondhu cock, large and ten turns.
The body is to be representative of a beetle, so keep it bulky.
The original body rear was of white rabbit dyed in picric acid, creating the yellow colour.
